Trump: fear of duties for our food products

The return of Trump awakens in agribusiness the ghosts of the past. Memories of what happened a few years ago, before the five-year truce sanctioned in 2021, are still fresh. It was the Italian cheese, charcuterie and spirits sector that trembled, with a 25% sting. The fear of duties still hovers.

One of the main reasons Trump won is inflation (and with the duties he risks creating a further inflationary wave).
