Amazon investigated for smuggling Chinese products into Italy, Guardia di Finanza in Milan and Bergamo offices

According to investigators, through a system of shell companies set up to circumvent tax regulations, hundreds of thousands of articles from China were brought into Italy without payment of VAT (value added tax) and the duties required for non-EU imports.
