“The phenomenon of fast commerce,” says Valentina Pontiggia , director of the B2C eCommerce Observatory Netcomm- School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano, “with 32% of European consumers making purchases via dedicated platforms at least once a month, underlines the importance of fast delivery. In fact, 65.1% of Italians are willing to switch brands for more convenient delivery options, and more than half (51.2%) would not hesitate to go elsewhere if a company does not meet their expectations.”
