Drafted on 11 December, updated on 18 December 2024
Dear Mr Giuseppe Caprotti,
I am Paola, coordinator of the “Giovanni XXIII” State-recognised Parish Nursery School,
recalling your kindness in allowing us to experience the atmosphere of the Living Nativity Scene with the children at Christmas 2008 (unfortunately, in 2010, in 2012 and 2014, snow and rain prevented us from staging it) and in 2016 in your beautiful park, then from 2018 onwards in the little church of St Valerio [you will find images from 2022 in the link], and now we are asking you if we might be able to relive that same exciting atmosphere again this year, by allowing us to use the same venue (the little church). Confident of a positive response from you, we promise not to cause any major disruption. We are setting out the programme for the day as follows:
The LIVE NATIVITY SCENE will take place on Saturday 14 December
– at 8.00–9.00 am, a teacher and the parents will enter the little church to set up the scene;
– at 2.30 pm, the children will enter with their teacher and parents to portray the characters in the nativity scene.
Once the performance is over, it will be the responsibility of the teachers and parents to tidy up and clean the area used.
We would like to ask, if possible, to use the electricity supply and, if necessary, the toilet facilities for the children;
WE THANK YOU IMMENSELY FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR COOPERATION IN THIS EXTRAORDINARY EVENT, WHICH IS SURE TO REMAIN A WARM MEMORY IN YOUR HEART!!!!
If you wish to reply, please contact the nursery school on 0362930297 – ask for Paola – or via email at scuolainfanzia.albiate@gmail.com
or via WhatsApp
Thank you!
The children, the teachers and the coordinator, Paola
Of course, the nativity scene has been confirmed; the children set it up on 14 December, and below you’ll find some photos from this year’s display.
