Grandfather Peppino, grandmother Marianne, grandparents and great-grandparents are there, in the Albiate cemetery, the place where my family built its fortunes. The chapel was the last of the Caprottis’ hearts, laid to rest in the bosom of their family, on their land. The chapel also managed to be a protagonist in my story, thanks to episodes between the comic and the grotesque.
