These photos represent the lifelong friendships, born between the 1950s and 1960s, of the generation before me.
Most of these pictures were taken in Forte dei Marmi, on the beach, at Villa Nadina or at the Capannina, at the time of ‘La dolce vita’.
Many of these people I have known or even met recently.
I have esteem and affection for them. Or, if they are missing, I have good memories of them.
Some of them gave me a hand in writing my book, Le Ossa dei Caprotti.
Children or grandchildren of the people represented in it were my classmates, acquaintances or real friends.
In the photo ‘Friends of Guido and Claudio Caprotti’: from the left: Antonio Radaelli, Marco Brunelli, Silvano Rezzaghi, Guido Caprotti, Claudio Caprotti, Alberto Fasoli, Puricelli, Luigi Rivolta. Who were also friends of my father, Bernardo Caprotti.
Mao De Marchi’s first name is Francesco and his mother and father, Matilde and Ambrogio, were very close friends of my paternal grandparents. He was my boss at Carrefour in Brazil.
In Lu Austoni’s eighteen-year dance, we catch a glimpse of Giorgio Della Seta, whom I talk about in my book. Hisson Marco was close to me when I was studying in Paris.
