Their activity in the field of textile manufacturing may have begun between the 18th and 19th centuries with Giovanni Caprotti (…).
“(…) in May 1867 the construction of a factory in the true sense of the term began on the banks of the Lambro; work continued, with some interruptions, for the whole of 1868 and in the following two years some completion work was carried out (…)”. The buildings of the complex, no longer active, are still standing and silent witnesses of a bygone era.
