“Pending the strengthening of a single capital market, private banking can be a good ally for the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises. Without a single market, it is difficult for the system to attract liquidity and entrepreneurs need capital in an industrial logic and time to make it work”. The CEO of Banca Generali, Gian Mario Mossa, among others, touches on the subject of investments for industrial development at the start of the two-day Osa 360 event in Milan.
At Superstudio Maxi, the community founded by Mirco Gasparotto, an industrialist who dedicated himself to consulting after a long history as a ‘self-made man’, meets. He entered his company, Arroweld in Vicenza, as a boy as an errand boy.
In the audience, about 2,000 SME exponents for the sixth edition of the event-show that is a ‘school’ of finance, management control, and the creation of a business plan, realised through ‘talks’ by well-known managers and entrepreneurs. The protagonist of the first morning was Mossa: “The more we are able to flank investors with the contribution of private savings, the easier it will be to start a virtuous process. How? Through incentives that are easy for savers to understand, and the process must cover both listed and unlisted companies by extending deductibility to all strategic sectors, from defence to space and energy.
Said Gasparotto: ‘The speakers on the stage represent an ‘aggregate’ turnover of EUR 40 billion. In almost ten years of activity, Osa has become the largest Italian network of entrepreneurs and a point of reference on practical, concrete issues, on confrontation with experts in doing business’.
