Albiate: sold-out visit to Villa San Valerio, entrepreneur Caprotti did the honours
The event was staged, under the patronage of the Albiate municipality, on the afternoon of Saturday 6 September, as part of the Notte Bianca organised in the streets of the town’s historic centre. Doing the honours, so it has to be said, was the entrepreneur Caprotti, son of the founder of Esselunga, who welcomed and accompanied the visitors , also acting as cicero.
Albiate: sold-out visit to Villa San Valerio, also showcased the park’s beauties
Caprotti showed, for example, some particularities of the park such as the presence of two marvellous sequoias, but he also lingered with those present, recalling some family anecdotes. The cultural afternoon was also attended, among others, by the mayor of Albiate, Vanessa Gallo, welfare councillor Filippo Viganò and Albiate parish vicar Don Renato Aldeghi.
Illustrating the beauty of Villa San Valerio ‘s park, the history of the mansion itself as well as the origins of the small church San Valerio, in the street of the same name where the villa is located, and also exceptionally open for the occasion, were exceptional guides from the association. Saturday 6 September was therefore a special afternoon and much appreciated by the dozens of visitors, not only from Albiata.
