Altroconsumo has released a new study, this time on the best pasta on sale in Italian supermarkets.

The Altroconsumo association conducted a study to identify the best pasta of 2023 on sale in Italian supermarkets. In first place was Barilla’s bronze spaghetti, which, with a score of 79, earned the title of Best of the Test. In second place, surprisingly, is Italiamo pasta on sale at LIDL supermarkets. Which instead is the best buy? The special accolade goes to the penne rigate of Sgambaro Pio, which earned a score of 74.

Summing up
Altroconsumo has launched a new study, this time on the best pasta on sale in Italian supermarkets.
The Best of the Test label goes to Barilla’s bronze spaghetti, in the 400 gram packet.
Also on the podium is Italiamo pasta, on sale in LIDL supermarkets. For them second place ahead of Armando Lo Spaghetto.
The palm for Best Buy goes instead to the penne rigate of Sgambaro Pio
At the back of the pack were spaghetti Classic from Carrefour, bronze-drawn penne rigate from Conad and spaghetti from the brand Le Stagioni d’Italia.
