Wall Street Journal: Grubhub Inc. agreed to combine with Europe’s Just Eat Takeaway.com NV, turning its back on Uber Technologies Inc. in a surprising twist in the scramble for mergers among food-delivery companies.
The move would create a trans-Atlantic food-delivery giant. Sulla precedente fusione tra Just Eat e Takeawaycom leggi qui. La somma dei ricavi 2019 delle due entità è di 2,7 miliardi di euro (1,5 mld euro Just Eat Takeaway e 1,2 mld Grubhub). Il dato è da pendere con le molle perchè i dati da bilancio del settore non sono chiarissimi.
